Color. Color. Color. It's been a driving force for me for as long as I can remember. When I was in high school, I was very talented with a pencil. I practiced shadows and values and my goal was always perfection. I desperately wanted to paint and often played with color. In fact one piece I painted was a large colorful piece with butterflies that my mother still has hanging in her home. It wasn't until I went to undergrad that I dove into painting classes and have been permanently hooked on the magic of color since that class.
